**All courses can be taken either under FAR Part 61 or FAR Part 141. Hours and price vary depending upon which (61 or 141) training is taken.

Please note that most students require between 50 and 60 hours to prepare for the Private Pilot Certificate and the average cost is about  $5,900.00 for 50 hours.

There are no minimum flight hour requirements for the Instructor rating. However, the applicant must have a Commercial Certificate and Instrument  Rating.
